What does each analytics metric mean?
Glossary of CommentLink Analytics metrics: DMs, public replies, leads, Follow Gate, automation performance, and delivery health.
Use this glossary with the Analytics page labels. Metrics respect the selected date range unless noted as all-time elsewhere in the product.
Core activity
- New Contacts — people added in the range
- DMs Sent — private messages sent by automations (and related sends reflected in Analytics)
- Public Comment Replies — public replies from Comment Auto Reply
- Posts/Reels/Stories Automated — media with automations counted in the range/context shown
Lead Generation
- Contacts Created — contacts created from activity
- Emails Collected — emails captured via Email Collector
- Link clicks are not tracked yet — do not expect click-through metrics here
Follow Gate
- Gate Shown — follow gate messages presented
- Unlocked — gates unlocked after confirmation / verification
- Content Delivered — gated content successfully delivered
- Unique People — distinct people in Follow Gate metrics
Automation & delivery health
- Created / Active — automation inventory style counts
- Successful / Failed Sends and Success Rate — delivery outcomes
- Top Performing Automations / Content — relative performance lists
- Delivery / Error Health — failures and health signals for troubleshooting
