What happens when the post is published?
When matching Instagram media publishes, CommentLink applies the Active upcoming rule so early comments can trigger your automation.
After you publish the Instagram post, CommentLink matches the new media to your Active upcoming rule and applies that automation configuration.
- Early comments can trigger keywords / Exact Match rules immediately
- The post then behaves like other linked Posts & Reels automations
- Paused upcoming rules do not apply while paused
