How do I create a Follow Gate automation?
Enable Follow-Gated DM on a Posts & Reels, Stories, or Automation Template config, customize the gate message, then Save.
Create any normal Instagram automation, then enable Follow-Gated DM so gated content only unlocks after follow confirmation.
Before you start
- Instagram connected in Channels
- A post, Reel, Story, or Automation Template to configure
Open the automation builder
Open a post in Posts & Reels (or a Story / template edit page).
Set triggers and DM content
Configure Keywords or All Comments and the messages that should unlock after the gate.
Enable Follow-Gated DM
Turn on Follow-Gated DM. Customize the follow request message and confirm button text if you do not want the default I'm following ✓.
Save
Click Save or Update.
