How do automations create leads?
Automations create contacts when they run and can collect emails with Email Collector. Measure both in Analytics Lead Generation.
In CommentLink, “leads” are contacts (and optionally emails) produced by automations — not a separate CRM product.
- A matching comment/story reply runs an Active automation
- CommentLink creates or updates a Contact
- If Email Collector is enabled and the person provides an email, it is stored and listed under Email Collector
- Optional Contact Tags and Lead score help you organize people afterward
