How do I collect email addresses from Instagram?
Enable Email Collector on a Posts & Reels, Stories, or Automation Template automation to capture emails in Instagram DMs.
Email Collector captures email addresses during Instagram DM automations. This is not platform Email Marketing campaigns — it is lead capture inside your automations.
Before you start
- Instagram connected in Channels
- An automation that sends DMs (not No DMs only)
Open an automation
Open a post in Posts & Reels, a Story, or an Automation Template.
Enable Email Collector
Turn on Email Collector on the automation form.
Save
Click Save or Update. When people complete the email step in the DM flow, addresses appear in Email Collector.
Limitations
- Emails are only stored when the person completes the collector step.
- Paused automations or disconnected Instagram stop new collection.
