How are contacts created?
Contacts are created when people interact through Instagram or WhatsApp automations and messaging — there is no separate Leads module.
Contacts appear when someone interacts with your connected channels — typically via automation runs, DMs, or inbox conversations. There is no separate “create lead” form required for basic contact creation.
- Comment-to-DM / Story automations create or update contacts when they run
- Email Collector can attach an email to a contact when the person completes the flow
- Live Inbox conversations are tied to the same contact records
- Analytics Contacts Created counts these creations for the selected range
