How do I connect Instagram?
Connect Instagram to CommentLink from Channels using Meta OAuth so Posts & Reels and Stories can sync.
Instagram must be connected in Channels before you can sync Posts & Reels, Stories, or Automation Templates.
Before you start
- Instagram Creator or Business account
- Account linked to a Facebook Page
- Permission to approve Meta app scopes for messaging and comments
Open Channels
In the sidebar, open Channels.
Start Connect Instagram
Click Connect Instagram. You are redirected to Meta to authorize CommentLink.
Approve access
Sign in with the Facebook account that manages your Page and Instagram, then approve the requested permissions.
Confirm connection
Return to CommentLink. Channels should show Instagram as connected. Empty states on Posts/Stories that asked you to connect should clear after refresh.
Limitations
- Personal Instagram accounts are not supported for this product path.
- You never enter your Instagram password into CommentLink — connection uses Meta OAuth.
If it doesn't work
OAuth fails or returns an error

- Wrong account type, missing Page link, or Meta authorization cancelled.
