How do I add Welcome Openers?
Add Instagram Welcome Openers, understand the four-item limit, and activate them.
Welcome Openers are Instagram conversation starter prompts shown before a person begins a DM.
Before you start
- Instagram connected in Channels
- A short prompt and reply prepared
Open Welcome Openers
Open Welcome Openers from the sidebar.
Add an opener
Choose New, enter the prompt and its reply, then save it.
Activate it
New openers are created inactive. Activate an opener when it is ready to be shown.
Reorder when needed
Reorder the list and save the complete ordering.
Limitations
- Instagram allows at most 4 Welcome Openers.
- When reordering, submit a complete permutation of the existing opener IDs.
