Why isn’t Follow Gate working?
Follow Gate fails when people do not follow, do not tap I'm following ✓, Instagram is disconnected, or the automation is paused.
Follow Gate unlocks only after the gate message, the I'm following ✓ tap (or custom confirm button), and follow verification — not from silent detection alone.
If it doesn't work
Users remain awaiting follow
- Why it happens
- They did not follow, or did not tap the confirm button.
- How to check
- Follow-Gated statuses; ask what they see in DM.
- How to fix
- Have them follow your account and tap I'm following ✓.
No gate message at all
- Why it happens
- Automation paused, Instagram disconnected, or Follow-Gated DM not enabled/saved.
- How to fix
- Enable Follow-Gated DM, Save/Update, Resume, Reconnect Instagram.
They follow but unlock fails
- Why it happens
- Confirm tap missing, wrong account followed, or temporary Meta follow-check issues.
- How to check
- Confirm they tapped the button on the gate card after following the correct account.
- How to fix
- Retry the button after following; reconnect Instagram if channel health is poor.
